I have known Sean for thirty plus years. From kindergarten to Hannaford. I am deeply saddened by this. It is hard to believe how lives slips by you and then they are gone. I and many will miss Sean.

Sean and i met this year, he was an amazing person i met him through his girlfriend heather and they helped me though one of the toughest times of my life, i will never forget the kindness he showed me and i wish i could thank him one more time. I'm so sorry for your loss, he will be missed for sure!!! I lost my daughter 2 months to the day before he passed he, heather and Nicole helped me so much during that time. if there is anything i can do to help I'm always here, i know they are in heaven together and Julianna will be there to greet him.

My children and I have so many memories of days spent, nights too come to think of it, with the Dowds. We were young together and raised our children together. I loved Sean. I know he was loved beyond compare by his family. I am heartbroken. My prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.

I came to know the Dowd family by first babysitting Sean when he was 3 OR 4. He was so cute he used to call me Devvy instead of Debby. Every wednesday while Tom&Cathy went bowling me and Sean hung out. I have nothing but fond memories of him and boy could that boy eat. Tom and Cathy you did great. You should be proud.
