I was very sad to hear from Crystal about Bill's passing. He was a great guy. I will definitely miss our getting together to break bread and his calling me to let me know how much he was enjoying my jazz radio program when it was playing in his shop. I called him Bill The Barber when giving him a shout out on the air. Rest in Peace my friend. Enjoy the hang up in the Big 52nd Street in the Sky. I look forward to hanging again with you someday (but not anytime soon - God willing!) My condolences to Crystal and his family and friends.
