Philip C Carrubba Jr, 55, of Monroe, died July 27, at Yale New Haven Hospital

Son of Philip and Gilda Grasso Carrubba of Trumbull, he was born Dec 23, 1958, in Bridgeport

Philip was a graduate of Trumbull High and Sacred Heart University in Fairfield He was the President of Fragrance Manufacturer, Carrubba Incorporated in Milford

Philip was a devoted father, who loved to spend time with his children, avid NY Mets fan and an assistant baseball coach at Masuk High School in Monroe He loved to go boating and spend time with his friends and family

In addition to his beloved parents, survivors include two sons, Joseph and Justin Carrubba of Monroe; a brother, Duane Michael Carrubba of Monroe; two sisters, Lisa Matson and her husband Edward of Stratford, and Elizabeth Riotto and her husband Christopher of Orange; an aunt, Carol Sementilli and her husband Philip of Trumbull, as well as two nieces, Victoria Carrubba and Emily Riotto, and his nephew, Ryan Riotto

Funeral services will take place on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 11:00 am directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial Interment will follow in St John Cemetery Monroe There will be no calling hours

In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to Christ the King Church, Trumbull Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull
