William C. Steinfeldt ("Bill") passed away peacefully, at the age of 82, on Friday, August 22, 2025, at St. Vincent's Hospital, surrounded by his family. Devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather great-grandfather and friend, he will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, steadfast faith, and lifelong devotion to the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Lynette. A funeral service will take place at the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, 2475 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, Connecticut, on September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Condolences to the Steinfeldt family on the passing of Bill. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these sad days. Bill was remarkable for his commitment to his family and his wit. It is my hope that the Steinfeldts experience healing over the next few months. I recognize that healing is a process.
