Alicia Fragoso Obituary

Alicia Fragoso "Tía Licha" 86, departed us unexpectedly on August 24, 2007. Tía Licha was a loving person to all who met her. She had an extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and many friends whom she loved and they loved her dearly-she will be greatly and forever missed and leaves an empty space in all our lives. For many years she was like a mother, our love, our rock, and will remain with us forever. Though she never married nor had children of her own, she was blessed with her sister's children. She was cared for by Soledad Zuzuárregui, husband David Farley and their daughter Esperanza Garrett; the Zuzuárregui family: Alicia (Juan González), Carlota (Roger Wickstrom), Estehela (Oscar González), Rene (Bertha), Abel (Linda), and Esperanza (Faisal BinSabt). Tía Licha was a wonderful woman who had a full life giving love, affection, laughter and caring to all who surrounded her. Que Dios la bendiga y tenga La Paz eterna. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Wednesday, August 29, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave., officiated by Manuel Fragoso. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

Soledad and family, My Simpathy and prayers are with you. I had no knowledge of my tia's death. I remember her being such a patient and kind person and this memory will stay in my heart forever. I remember when we would visit my Tata Chamelo and as a child she was the most beautiful person, I thought she was an angel. Dearest Sole and Family-
So sorry to hear about your Aunt. I didn't know her well personally but I know my Mother thought so much of her and I know what a sweet and loving lady she was. I pray that God is holding you and your family in the palm of His hand in this time and that He blesses you abundantly all the days of your lives with thoughts of love and honor about your Tia.
My love and prayers are with you!

Dear Soledad, Espi, Farley and all the Zuzuarregui family,
I enjoyed the times I had to chat with your beloved "Tia Licha". She was always so warm and welcoming to me, to Ariella and to all Espi's friends. Her sudden loss is difficult for you all and I wish for you that your faith guide you to the vision of her being embraced warmly by the Lord, for surely that is where she is.
God bless you all.
Love,
Julie
