Mickey and I were close to Tom and Anne for several years. We found fun and friendship within the family - more like a brother and sister than an aunt and uncle. This is such a tough time for you, Ellen, Tommy and John - my prayers are with you all. May God fill you with his healing love.
Peace, Janet

I send my love, thoughts and prayers for Anne, as well as the family and friends who will deeply feel her loss.
I will always remember Anne as my beautiful young adult cousin. I looked up to her and emulated her as a teenager. I first met Tom when I accompanied my Dad, Uncle Albert and Anne to Stewart AFB near my home in Middletown, NY to pick him up after he flew his jet in from Texas to visit Anne for the weekend. He even dipped the wing of his jet for her before landing. Needless to say I had an instant crush on him. There love was evident then and throughout their lives together. I take comfort knowing that they are united once again.

Tom,Anne,Madeline,John,Tommy,and Ellen
have been a part of my family's lives for many years. Anne's yummy pasta dinners, and our huge family Thanksgivings are forever etched in my mind. Whether it was family vacations,or weddings the Assalones were there to offer entertainment or their home! What a generous and loving family. God bless you all and know that we are saddened by your loss. I will keep you all in my prayers during this diffuicult time. Much love,

Larry and I went to OKC when we were dating. Aunt Anne made meatballs and I fell in love. She was the best cook

My sympathies to the Assalone family. We were neighbors in Ashford while you lived on Asquith Court in the 1970's. My parents still live on Bexley Lane.

Dear Aunt Anne,
I just wanted to let you know how much I love you and will miss you. Thanks for letting me spend the last few days of your life with you and adding to all the special memories I have of you and Uncle Tom. Please give my dad a big hug for me when you see him in heaven, I know he is waiting for you there. Thanks for being there for me during the year I stayed with you at your home, it was hard being away from home but you made me feel like I was at home. You were an inspiration to me the way you showed your love for Uncle Tom and your sense of family, even right up to your last moments here on earth, I will always keep a part of you with me for the rest of my days.
Love,
Peter
