Armando Rios Obituary

Armando Goldbaum Rios, 74, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona.

Born on March 20, 1950, Armando was a talented salesman with a keen business sense. Throughout his career, he pursued various entrepreneurial ventures, including owning art galleries in Tucson, Arizona, and Miami, Florida, during the early 1990s. He later found success as a real estate agent in Tucson, where he built lasting connections within the community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Armando had a deep passion for travel, dance, and experiencing new cultures. He enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life and embracing the richness of their stories. He also cherished time spent with his daughters and took great pleasure in watching sports and staying engaged with current affairs.

Armando is survived by his daughters Veronica Heredia, Andrea Maria Rios, Edilia Perez, and Angelica Rios, as well as his eight beloved grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Azahares, 1110 E Pennsylvania St #401, Tucson, AZ 85714. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. A private celebration of his life will be held by his close loved ones.

Armando's adventurous spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Armando was my soul mate. We had 5 years together in the 1980's and reconnected in 2019. I miss him every day and we always said whoever got to heaven first we would wait for the other one to come. Part of his ashes will be placed in with my ashes when my time comes. Love you forever and ever.
