Audrey Payne MARR

MARR, Audrey Payne 11/11/1928 - 9/1/2017 Audrey Payne Marr was a sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Manteno, IL, she graduated from Manteno HS in 1946 and married Harlan in 1948. She moved with her family to Tucson in 1959 and spent the rest of her life caring for her adopted community. She was active in her church, St. Mark's Presbyterian, and found joy and comfort in the fellowship she found there. Audrey loved raising money for charities, baking cookies, going to the movies and being an avid Wildcat fan. It's been a wonderful life. She is survived by her sisters, Lois and Irma; sons, James and Jay (Karen); grandchildren, Jessica, Toby (Becky), Stacy and Brent (Monica); great- grandchildren, Ellie, Luke, and Azalea and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her sister, Joann; brother, Sonny; husband, Harlan and daughter, Kathleen. Special thanks to Patricia Marr and Genita Salvagio. Additional thanks to Drs. Steven Vig and Brenda Peart. Five stars to the staff at The Homestead on 18th and Pathways Hospice, for the excellent care they provided. Services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church.
