B. Randall Obituary

Our dear beloved B. Wayne Randall passed away on May 24, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 91. Born on October 28, 1933, on his grandfather's ranch in Gilbert, Arizona, he lived a rich, loving life marked by curiosity, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the world's wonders and people.

Wayne graduated from Thatcher High School in 1951. He attended Eastern Arizona College, after which he served a mission to Norway for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He then pursued further education with dedication, earning degrees from both Brigham Young University and the University of Arizona. His academic journey laid the foundation for a remarkable career in the travel industry that spanned six decades. As a travel agent and agency owner for over 50 years, Wayne found his calling in helping others explore the world. He believed that travel had the power to open minds and hearts, and he took great joy in witnessing the awe and excitement on people's faces as they encountered new places and cultures. Wayne was also a longtime member of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, and Skoal Club.

His travels were extensive and filled with unforgettable experiences. Among his favorite destinations were Bhutan, Morocco, New Guinea, and Norwayeach offering unique beauty and insight. Perhaps most notably, Wayne ventured to Antarctica three times, an extraordinary feat that reflected his adventurous spirit. He often recounted with pride how he swam with penguins during one of those visitsa testament to his fearless embrace of life's rare opportunities.

Wayne's passion for exploration was not just about seeing new places; it was about connecting with people and the world in meaningful ways. His enthusiasm was infectious, inspiring countless others to embark on their journeys of discovery.

His loving family remembers him: sisters Joyce Yvonne Barney (and her husband, Durell Barney), Dixie Kartchner, Debbie Sharp (and her husband, Steven Sharp), and brother Danny Perkins, as well as many dearly loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his longtime partner of 48 years, Emery Silvester, the Silvester family, and many others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Eldon Randall, brother Alan Perkins, and brother-in-law Glen Kartchner.

Wayne's legacy lives on through the memories he created with those who knew him and in the countless lives he touched by sharing his love for others and for life itself.
