Barbara Grabosch Obituary

A wonderful mother, and caring soul, sadly passed away in the early hours of September 25, 2022, peacefully in her sleep. Barbara was born in 1932 in Unionville, Missouri. She was part of a large family and had six siblings. She married Gary Grabosch in 1954 and they lived in several places, Springfield, MO., Chicago, and San Antonio before settling in Tucson in 1964. She worked for the City of Tucson as a Librarian for 28 years until retiring in 1992. She was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother who was always there when needed. She was generous, loving, kind and extremely proud of her kids and grandkids. She never missed an event any of her children or grandchildren participated in. She was lovingly referred to as Super Grandma. In her free time, Barbara loved reading, being in her backyard tending to all her flowers and plants, walking, and riding her exercise bike. She was also a wonderful cook. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She touched many people's hearts with her smile and laughter, and her sweet sense of humor. "We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother." Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Gary Grabosch. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Valentine (Andrew Valentine), her son, Jason Grabosch (Kathie Grabosch) and her grandchildren, Brett Grabosch, Ryan Grabosch, Samantha Valentine and Brooke Grabosch. A Memorial Service in her honor will be held at Christ Community Church on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. all are welcomed to attend. Flowers and/or memorial contributions to Alzheimer's research www.alz.org are equally welcome. Arrangements by EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY.
