Dearest old friend, I tried to contact you and just missed. Not too late to remember our days as first graders at Menlo Park and on into Roskruge and Tucson High. Distance has separated us all these years but I am sure to see you again one of these days. We were the same age. Rest easy, love Dorothy

To the Adams family: Many thoughts are with you and each one brings a prayer, that you will know God's comfort during this time of despair. (John 14:18)

Beryl and Hugh were two of the kindest, gentlest, most generous people I ever met. They were profound examples of eternal love, dedication and commitment, and if they didn't inspire a desire to be good enough to see them again in heaven, surely no one could. Beryl was the perfect model of how to really LISTEN, and when she asked you a question you knew she genuinely cared and wanted to hear your answer. She was also a perfect example of maintaining one's faith in the midst of trials, hardship and adversity. Tucson is a little darker for her loss, but surely heaven is shining brighter!

Beryl, It's been many years since I last spoke with you, but I will always remember your kindness to me. You truly lived the final commandment of "As I have loved thee, love one another." You were an example that many of us should strive to replicate. Your love was truly felt and I am forever grateful. God speed to you dear woman and until we shall meet again.

When our children were little, they would beg to be able to sit in Church near Hugh and Beryl - hoping that Hugh would make them an Origami toy to play with quietly. Hugh and Beryl influenced our lives for good by their example, their faith and their love for us. Beryl had a way of remembering important dates and events in all our lives. We used to talk about our "interviews" with her - how we cherished every moment with them both! I will always treasure the up-close-and-personal "interview" time I spent in the car with Beryl traveling to and from Gilbert. She knew how to make anyone feel better...just by the love you knew she had for you. I will miss her so much. Our prayers are with their beloved children and grandchildren. God be with you til we meet again, Beryl! Love, Gee Gee Cook

At times like these, 'God can give us "power beyond what is normal," so we can keep going from one day to the next. (2 Cor.4:7) May your memories continue to bring the family comfort during this difficult time.
