Bonnie WARREN Obituary

WARREN, Bonnie passed away on October 18, 2018 after a long bout with Parkinson's disease. She was born in El Paso Texas March 31, 1932 to Robert and Violet Walker. Her early years were spent in Phoenix where she attended Phoenix North High. Later she attended Phoenix College where she was voted campus queen and went on to graduate from ASU where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. After graduation she served as an airline hostess with TWA and went on later to teach. The end of her working career was spent in the real estate business with Tucson Realty and later with Long Realty where she partnered with her son Scott. She married Jim Warren in 1969 and resided in Tucson until the present. She was a member of the Junior League of Tucson, St. Lukes Board of Visitors, a past Chairman of the Tucson Symphony Cotillion, a past president of the Voluntary Action Center, Member of Christ Church United Methodist, Tucson Board of Realtors CRS and GRI. Tucson Festival Society - Silver and Turquoise and Mesquite and Garden Club. She enjoyed hiking, tennis and travel. With all of her accomplishments her longest suit was friends. She loved and was so loved by so many. She will be sorely missed by her husband, Jim, son, Scott Warren, daughter, Holly Warren, grandchildren Layla Hrzena (James), Bijan Taherkhan and great-grandchild, Ari Taherkhan.
