I was missing my dad who recently passed away on my birthday this past Labor Day.
I went into his guest book to share my thoughts, and couldn't help but feel the sadness you must continue to have in your heart about your son, Brandon.
Please know that Brandon is also being cared for by another great man, my dad. He'll do a good job - I promise.

I miss you so much. You're such an amazing person. I can't believe you're not going to be in Florida this summer or at Becca's wedding. We all miss you more than you could possibly imagine. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to meet you last year on our first trip to Florida. You are one of the funniest, friendliest, greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I went to college with Brandon and enjoyed all the times we hung out in classes together. He was an incredibly talented young man and was always open to sharing his art with others. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
