I have read through the messages sent to the family when Chuck
left this old world. Compliments abound. Love was the theme.
I am proud to have been one of his many friends.

When Chuck was minister at Mt. Pleasant, TX, my Sidney was minister at
Marshall, TX, and we had many good times together . When Chuck was in
Thailand, he ordered a beautiful set of bronze tableware for us in exchange
for Sidney taping/recording classical music for his listening pleasure. We
always appreciated Chuck's positive outlook on life, his sense of humor, his
dedication to family and certainly his zeal for ministry.

Chuck was my oldest brother. He was my greatest hero as we grew up, first in Indiana, then Colorado, Wyoming, and finally Texas. I was the youngest of the four brothers. Now Royce, my next oldest brother, and I remain to sing the praises of a wonderful God who blessed us with a family unmatched anywhere. I know the gates of heaven opened, and the angels sang a joyous "Welcome home, Chuck". May God bless his family.

As Christians we do not fear death, because we know what is on the other side. When we lose a loved one we miss them for a while but look forward to being reunited in Heaven. The Gospel should be presented at funerals and memorials because those attending are very conscious of death and might truly benefit if they do not have the blessed hope. I'm glad Chuck is beyond pain and suffering. What a joy he must now have.

CHUCK,INSISTED I BECOME A MINISTER WHEN I WAS AROUND 48/49. HE DID NOT STOP PUSHING ME UNTIL I FINALLY WENT TO BRITE DIVINITY SCHOOL. THANK YOU CHUCK. IT WAS THE BEST THING YOU EVER DID FOR ME. MY LAST CHURCH WAS AT MARANA, ARIZONA. A WONDERFUL CHURCH. AND YOUR SPIRIT IS STILL THERE THROUGH ALL I LEARNED FROM YOU.

Memories flood our minds, especially when Chuck was in Mt. Pleasant and we were in Marshall and Lufkin. The decision was made then to go to the mission field. We followed his career
in Thailand and all the years afterward.

Sidney was called up with the 49th Armored Division (National Guard) with
Charles, Sr., both chaplains, serving at Ft. Polk La....We treasured musical times with Barbara and dinners in the homes of both Charles' families.

Loved Chuck and his great humor.

Chuck was active in so many different aspects of life in Tucson, made so many friends and positively impacted numerous individuals and causes. We are fortunate to have been associated with Chuck in service with the Tucson Hosing Foundation, Estes Gardens Elderly Housing, Armory Park Elderly Housing and Pima Council on Aging and are aware of his devotion to so many other ministries. A number of years ago, Chuck was instrumental in bringing the National Benevolent Association to Tucson to partner with the Tucson Housing Foundation and sponsor an application to HUD which resulted in the building of the Estes Gardens elderly housing project. On January 21, 2015, we are having an Open House to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this facility. During the Open House, we will be dedicating and naming the outdoor Ramada in Honor and Memory of Chuck, a small but heartfelt expression of our appreciation for his friendship and service. Our prayers go out to his family and all of Chuck's other friends throughout the world.

Life can never stay the same, no matter how we try.
Our hands can never stop the clock of life from ticking by.
But, love remains unchanged in the care of sorrowful hearts,
for as the love of this life surrenders, the love of memory starts.

Daddy, I will miss you so much. Your notes and calls of encouragement ministered to me through so many times when I just couldn't see the path in front of me and always encouraged Ken and I as we pastored the church in Pasadena.

I know you are dancing in heaven ... for the first time in over 60 years you are moving without pain. I know you are celebrating with Terri, your mom and dad, sister Barbara and brother Manford. Wish we could see the celebration going on, but I know it must be amazing!

I will miss you, Daddy

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Rev. Charles Mull. We knew him as Chuck, and as one of the best "friends" Berea College had in Arizona. His wife Terri graduated from Berea, and Chuck never failed to support her in her help to the school. Berea is one of the most unique institutions of higher learning in our nation and Chuck's support was instrumental in keeping the Arizona group of friends and alumni organized. He will be greatly missed.
