Cheng Chang Obituary

Cheng Cho Chang Mr. Chang or Master Chang passed on to be with his son and his Savior on August 2, 2007. Mr. Chang was born in Vietnam, and then went to Taiwan for school where he participated and won many medals in the Asian Olympics; also in Taiwan is where he met the love of his life. For the last 37 years, he was a faithful husband and father to his three children, Rosa, Maria and Pablo (1983-2001). For the last 22 years living here in Tucson, he performed many martial arts and lion dances in this community. He was the owner of The King's Chinese Restaurant. Mr. Chang will be missed by his family and friends and even his customers. Furthermore, he is survived by seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007, 9:00 a.m. at Tucson Chinese Baptist Church, 2411 E. Fort Lowell Road. Service will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Interment with a gravesite prayer to follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.

We would like to express our condolences to the family in their time of grief. We want to let them know they are in our prayers. We are Christian friends and patrons of the King's Restaurant. We enjoyed many talks with Master Chang and his wife as well as many meals there.
