I include Cheralynn in my prayers and think of her so often. She was an exceptional human being. Unfortunately, I didn't get to know her for very long, but I feel so blessed to have shared time together on our walks with the dogs. Cheralynn was a special humanitarian.

I still think about her frequently. For a short time after we met walking our dog(s), we walked almost daily, then we would stop and visit some more. My memories of her include her bright spirit, her empathy, and her love for her family, friends and animals. She was so easy to be with and converse with...such a warm human being that I will always remember. I remember when we met. It was the the day after I had to let our so-loved poodle, Lucy, go. As I walked up the road crying, we crossed paths. She was such a comfort because she understood the impact of the loss of Lucy who was 18+ years old. Thank you dear one for sharing your specialness on this planet. You are so missed.

I think of Cheralynn often. Though I only knew her through joining up to walk our dogs and visiting at each others homes near the end of the walk, I was excited about continuing to develop our friendship. She comes to mind frequently when I am walking Addie. I know exactly where I met her for the first time along the path. I had just lost our 18+ year old poodle, Lucy, the day before. Cheralynn was so sympathetic and supportive...a truly special person.

To the Schnepp Family, My sincere regards to your family during this time of deep sadness. I worked with Cheri during the end of her career at TMC and she was truly a shining star with an infectious smile and quick wit. She shared stories about her love of animals and gardening with me. Her loss is quite a shock.

Cheri took me under her wing, I knew that when Cheri was at work we were going to have a great day. Her smile brighten up my day. Though I only had the oppportunity to know Cheri for a few years I felt that I knew her my whole life. I love you Cheri and will miss you very much. I want to thank you Jeff, Lisa, and Kirsten for allowing me to say goodbye to my friend. I am also happy to hear that her dogs were able to say goodbye too. Cheri you are my inspiration.....

Dear Schnepp family: I knew Cherie when I worked at TMC and she was house supervisor. I was shocked to see her obit in the paper, and am saddened for your loss. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word, and was calm in the midst of chaos. How fortunate for you to have had someone so special in your lives.

Dear Jeff, Lisa, and Kirstin,
I was so shocked to hear about Cheri. You all have been on my mind since I found out. I will miss Cheri so much. When ever I would cut Cheri's hair we always talked about her family. Jeff- I always heard about your hunting trips and your vacations that you two would take together. It sounded like you and Cheri had a great relationship and enjoyed eachother. Girls- You two were always topic of conversation. Your mom would always update me on how well you were doing and what you were doing. I know she was always proud of both of you and you could tell how much she loved you both. I hope I can be a wonderful mom just like her. Your mom had an unbelievable knack of being there for so many people and animals. She had such a kind heart and I will miss her so much. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

To The Schnepp Family,

Last Thursday as I was checking the obituaries to see if my son was in the system, Cheri's was before his. I was in shock. I have known Cheri from the beginning of her TMC years. She was wonderful, caring and supportive of all that came in contact with her. I will miss her smiling face, she was an awesome lady. It just seems like yesterday that I went to her retirement party. She always kept up with my son's progress, I know she will take care of him in heaven. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

With all my love,

Nancy

Jeff, Lisa, Kirstin, you have not been off my mind since I learned of Cheri's situation last Tuesday morning. Though I had the privilege of knowing Cheri for only a short time, she was like a long-time friend to me--I felt as if we had known each other for years. I will cherish all the walks and talks we shared in the mornings during the last couple of months, the tea, the viewing of the water garden, the kisses from Maggie (and once in awhile from Clifford) as I tried to get over the loss of my beloved Lucy (18+ yr. old poodle). Cheri was the epitome of love. I will miss her every day and balance lots of rocks in her memory. The daily walks will just not be the same. You are in my prayers daily.

This news is crushing. Jeff, Lisa, Kirsten and Danny, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Cheri was one of my favorite and best friends in high school. We took Gov't from Harry Mitchell during summer school; Cheri would pick me up for class every hot, muggy morning in her Jeep. Being with Cheri was always a good time. I am thankful to have enjoyed her and Jeff's company at our 40th high school reunion last October. From a loving wife and proud mother, compassionate and capable nurse, dedicated volunteer, and beautiful person who has touched the lives of so many in important and unique ways--I am thankful to have called you friend and will cherish those memories of long ago.
Blessings,

Jeff, Lisa (and John) and Kirstin....Gregg and I are still shocked and just so saddened at Cheri's sudden death. But good to know that others will live with her organ donation and she will be watching over you all from heaven. You will all carry the best parts of her with you forever...and memories will never be lost. If you need to talk, need advice, need to just 'get away', please know we are here and always will be.

As an MD who worked with Cheri, I always enjoyed seeing her. She was an expert NICU nurse, seeing some sad things at times, and always was upbeat. Though it has been 9+ years since we worked together I can still hear her wonderful laugh. She really was a wonderful person who will be sorely missed by many.

Jeff, Lisa and Kirstin,
I just got the news about Cheri. I am shocked and saddened. She and I went to nursing school together at the UofA and started on the same day in 1972 in Pediatrics at TMC. We worked together for many years before I left TMC in 1989. Cheri was someone who always had a positive outlook on life, spoke with love and tenderness about her family and always cared about patients and supported staff at the hospital. She was a truly good person and I will always remember her. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

To Cheri's family,
Having worked with Cheri over the last 27 years @ TMC, my heart can't imagine the loss you feel. She was such a lady- wise, skilled, soft spoken, intelligent humor, calm, and loving. I can picture her ready smile on her tall frame coming down the hall; always such a welcome sight. She often mentioned her daughters with such pride. May God help each of you as you struggle with such a beautiful life cut short. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jeff, Kirstin and Lisa - I am shocked beyond words at Cheri's death. I first knew Cheri in 1976 when I started working at TMC. I remember when she married Jeff and the girls were born. Our paths crossed often at TMC - she was an excellent Pediatric nurse and nursing supervisor. The last time I saw Cheri was at her TMC retirement party - she had so many plans for the future. But above all she loved her family. I am saddened at the loss of this vibrant woman. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
