I too had the pleasure of working with Dr Maloney for many years when he came to the Emergency Department. As you can imagine it's pretty serious when the CT surgeon has to come to ED. If it was one of his own patients he knew everything about them. If he did not know the patient he was kind and gentle with explaining everything to patient and family
CMC lost a great surgeon when he left but now we have an angel watching over us!

Carolyn and I are very saddened to hear of Chris's passing. He was a great friend to many, a fantastic father, adoring husband, attentive loving grandfather and gifted surgeon. I'll always cherish and remember the many times he made me laugh and will take to heart the many life lessons I learned from his example; how to be a good father, husband and friend. We were so blessed that he agreed to be Godfather to our oldest son Alex now 14 years old. We will miss him dearly. Our sympathy and prayers to all those who knew and loved Chris especially his immediate family. He will be solely missed but never forgotten.
