Clifford Warren Baser

1933 - 2013

Clifford Warren Baser 80, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on the night of October 31, 2013. Warren was born in Dennis, Oklahoma on September 8, 1933 to Ben and Oma Baser. He served in the Army infantry during the Korean War and upon returning from his War duties, Warren worked the Railroad for 42 years. Warren was married to Shirley Martin on July 2, 1960; they had recently celebrated their 53rd anniversary. He particularly enjoyed riding his horses and travelling to his property in the White Mountains. Warren worked hard his whole life and was tirelessly devoted to his family. He was a longtime member of the Masons, the Scottish Rite, and the Shriners. He discovered his true calling when he became a grandfather, as nothing gave him greater joy than playing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Shirley and their four children and spouses, Connie Dickerson (Tony), Mike (Anjum), Tracy Baser-Decker (J.Thad), and Clifford (Angie) along with his grandchildren, Jessica, Olivia, Madeline, Warren, Alyssa, Dereck, Helena, Brooks, Josie, Ashley, Lily and Kylie. Warren has two older daughters in California, Kathy, and his grandchildren, Larissa and Jamie and an eldest daughter, Dana. He is survived by his brothers, Jerry, Gary and Frank; sisters, Beverly and Carol. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Oma Baser; his brothers, Johnny, Kenneth and Ben and his sister, Lawanda. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Marana Cemetery Chapel, 12146 W. Barnett Rd. in Marana. Arrangements entrusted to adairfuneralhomes.com.
