I'm writing this Crying. I was just told this from a friend. Cody... He was a funny guy. And hyper too. We used to hang uot when we were younger, get in some trouble too, even build a Fort in my yard. Wish I didn't move....
I'll miss you man, as many others will

I am writing to this family to express my deepest and sincerest condolences. I recently lost my 17 year old son as well. Though everyone grieves differently, I have an idea of what you are going through, as I recently went through this, and I still am. I did not know Cody or his family, but I know their pain is deep. I know you will have many, many fond memories of this beautiful young man. I will be thinking of the parents, fiance, siblings extended family and friends.

If there were ever a student you just loved ---it was Cody. I was his speech teacher at Doolen and we spent many a day just discussing what he wanted out of life. He was always one of my favorites. I remember when he moved to Surprise with his dad. But I was always lucky---I would walk out to my car and who would be out there taking the bus on one of his days in Tucson but Cody. He had grown to be so handsome.
This week I was thinking it was about time to bump into him again.
I am truly saddened to hear of Cody's passing.
