Almost 5 yrs have gone by and every day you gross my mind. You were my rock, the one I went to for my strength. You were and always will be my mum.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Words can not express how much you are missed. I love you so very much.

It has been almost a year since you passed, but sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday. I really miss you and grandpa. You two taught me a lot and I regret not seeing you more often in your later years. I think back often and laugh about some of the moments we all had and think of the things we all did as a family. I miss it all.

Although I only met "Lynn's Mum" a couple of times, I feel very fortunate that I did. I know she was a special lady...and how much she was loved by all of her family...especially Lynn. I enjoyed reading about Doreen's exciting early life and her world travels. We Send peace and comfort to her family for their loss. Nancy & Mike

Dear family- a loss of a loved one is always hard. Dee was an amazing person. Her loss is felt in all of us. Love you, Alicia

Mum - in the early '60s. I'll always remember you in this red suit, always elegant.

Mum, I think I'm doing OK until my eyes suddenly fill with tears or I am overpowered by a lethargy that just makes me want to crawl back into bed. My life has revolved around you for so many years, I'm not sure I know how to fill the empty space. I miss my Mum. Always will. And I will always remember you, not as the aging mother with dementia, but as the lovely woman in this picture, who I admired so much.

Dee,
You were one amazing person and a hell of a Bingo player.
Taking in 3 of you grandchildren when they were in grade school and raising them until they left your home as adults while in your 50's, 60's and 70's is a testament to your love of family and willingness to help anyone in need.
Thank You for teaching me how not to make "piddle" tea, Lynn appreciates that I can make proper English tea.
I will miss your smile and laugh, it always filled the room.
Rest in Peace My Love.

You always had a way of helping me through tough times in my life, and always welcomed me back with open arms. I will always remeber our nightly walks to Albertson's and how we would sit outside and watch people that came into the store. I will miss you.

Aunty Doreen, my memory of you was when you came over to England and took me to Viginia Waters where I ended up running away screaming from the totem pole which I thought was going to fall on me. My Mum later informed me that it was the cloud moving and not the pole. I have been back numerous times and still have that memory. I also still have the ring you brought for all us girls and Dad still has the dollar. I am so sad that I won't be able to see you on my visit next year. Until we meet again one day. All my love your neice Sara XXX
