On a whim I Googled Emma today and was saddened to hear of her passing. I worked for Emma back in the late 90s and early 2000s when I responded to an ad in the Daily Wildcat asking for assistance with computers. As an aspiring system administrator, I responded to the ad, and during the interview was told she needed help with the comptuer, but more importantly with her semi-weekly swim sessions. I was quite confused at first but spent a few hours every week helping her get into and out of the pool. I had a great time discussing everything from movies to books to relationships with Emma. She was a wonderful employer and her memory is certainly a blessing.
