Esther Williams Obituary

Esther Williams Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on May 23, 1948, Esther Williams passed away peacefully on June 18, 2010. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Desiree (Jeff) Herndon; son, Jason Williams; father, Ernie Cotton; brother, Don (Leah) Cotton; sister, Betty (Marc) Cohen; and sister, Helen (David) Sampson. Esther is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Clasina, Zachary and Megan (who were the pride and joy of her life); nieces and nephews, Leah Vigileos (Travis), Rebecca Cotton, Justin Cotton (Missy), Jacob Cotton and Edie Cotton; as well as her great-nephews, Noah and Eli Vigieos; great-niece, Isabella Vigieos and numerous friends. Esther was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Clasina Cotton. Esther was an extremely beautiful and talented woman who was graced with an innate artistic talent, sense of style, and natural wit that delighted all who were lucky enough to have known her. She was fiercely devoted to her family, who find comfort in the knowledge that her work on earth being complete, Esther is now free of pain, worries and fear. We will miss her forever. Graveside Services will be held Monday, June 21, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at EVERGREEN MORTUARY AND CEMETERY, 3015 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ.
