Eva M. Lemoine

1937 - 2025

A celebration of life will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. on October 16 at the Tucson Women's Club, 6245 E Bellevue St, Tucson, AZ 85712. A memorial mass will be held at a future date.

Eva Lemoine passed away on September 26, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Winton Joseph Lemoine, Jr.; her sons, Charles Andrew and Michael Steven Lemoine; her parents, Charlie Wellman and Bertha Evans Morace; and her brothers, Paul Morace and Alex Morace.

Eva Lois Morace Lemoine was born June 10, 1937, near Jena, Louisiana. She was the firstborn of the late Charlie Wellman and Bertha Evans Morace.

She is survived by Winton "Trey" Lemoine, III and Rebecca Diane Knope (Steve); her grandchildren, Benjamin Pitroff (Meghan), Jordan Knope, and Zandy Knope; her great-grandchildren, Calvin, Quentin, Halo, and Novel; her sisters, Marilyn Lyles, Sadie Love, and Charlene Helams; her sister-in-law, Fran Morace, Judy Farley (Ted), Linda Lemoine, Kay Barnett, and Wynona Lemoine. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Eva was president of St. Ambrose Women's Club and taught catechism at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Tucson, AZ. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and a Girl Scout Troop Leader.

She enjoyed bowling, sat on the Tucson Women's Bowling Association Board of Directors, served as Vice President of the Arizona Women's Bowling Association and the Arizona State Bowling Association, and participated in over 35 national tournaments. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame by both the TWBA and the ASBA.

Eva was also "Queen" of the Kokopeli Kuties chapter of the Red Hat Ladies Society. She spent countless hours researching genealogy and enjoyed playing Bunco and Mexican Train with friends and neighbors.
