Dear Pat, I thought about You guys this morning, and looked up Franks name, only to find out that the great man full of wisdom, knowledge, passion, kindness, love and many more went to be with the lord. Please receive our heart felt condolences and be strong, knowing that he is in a better place. Frank was my late sisters (Cecilia Katiku) advisor and after I met you all, we were like family. I would have loved to be present but due to distance I could not. Pat, we love you and will keep you in prayers.
Consolata Katiku and family, Germantown Maryland.

We have just learned from his grand daughter that old Frank has completed his ascent of Boot Hill.
What a flood of sadness but amazing memories this news has released.
51 years ago Pat and Frank showed Liz and me the greatest kindness, generosity and hospitality when we arrived as foreign students in Tucson. Since then we have remained close friends despite subsequent geographic distance and infrequent visits back and forth..
The two vivacious little girls, Reata and Lacy, our Tucson parents. family meals, picnics in the canyons, learning to speak a new version of English after being surprised that even the kids spoke like Americans. Wonderful times. We will never forget.
Pat, and all the family. We love you.
