In reflecting on my frienship with Gary we did a lot of fishing together which included many trips to Rose Canyon lake in Mt Lemon and a small lake halfway between Tucson and Nogales. Both long drives but we had a lot of fun, leaving before the sun came up and getting home when the sun was coming down. Those were great times and fond memories of my time with Gary.

I had a lot of great times with Gary during our jurnior high and high school days. He had a great laugh! The neighbor kids spent many hours playing football and baskeyball at Jefferson Park School, everyone wanted to be on Gary's team, he was a winner and boy he was funny. I never got to reunite him him as I joined the military but I never forgot him. His parents were great and I was always welcomed in his home. His style of dress in high school was a white t-shirt, levis, and brown chucka boots, I dressed like him because I thought he was cool. He always had his own words for popular songs, they were funny but I won't repeat the words here. Although I was unable to reconnect with him, my memories of him and the positive impact he had on me, to this day in 2023, live on.

Please accept my dearest and heartfelt sympathy; I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1,2

I am sorry for your loss. It is always hard to lose a loved one in death. Our heavenly Father is very aware and understands the pain you feel. He will give you comfort. (Psalms 86:6,7) Your family has my deepest sympathy.

Having known Gary for at least fifty years, I am sad to see one of my best buds leave this earth. Rest in peace, Gary. My hope is that we will meet again up yonder, where there is no pain and we're in His presence for eternity.
