George LOPEZ Obituary

LOPEZ, George "Spanky" went to eternal peace and to be with his mother, Virginia V. Lopez, on June 24, 2017. He was born on February 22, 1956, in Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1982, and later his brothers, John and Richard and sister, Elizabeth. He is survived by his main caretaker, best friend and awesome sister, Angie (Bruce). Other surviving siblings: Pete, Steve, Tommy, Randy, Virginia, Andres, Antonio and Freddy. Spanky leaves numerous nieces and nephews and in particular and with special fondness: Michael, twins Stevie and Vinnie, Bobby and Michelle "Gucci". Although Spanky could not speak, he was very capable of letting you know what he liked and what he didn't like with distinct grunts! His immediate family always knew what he meant. Spanky will be missed and leaves a void to all that he touched with his special spirit. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.; Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church with burial to follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
