Mr. Glover,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during WW II as a member of the 77th Infanty "Statue of Liberty" Division which saw heavy combat at Guam, Leyte, and Okinawa where it also captured the islands of Ie Shima and Kerama Retto-and was one of the most highly respected Army units in the Pacific-as an example at Guam-its first battle, Marines who fought alongside the 77th referred to it as the 77th Marine Division because of its fighting ability. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
