My deepest sympathy to all of Jim's family--please know I thought the most of Jim as a great friend. His dedication and contributions to the U-2 program were remarkable. When we were forming a reunion committee in the '90s, Jim was the first person we wanted to work with. We were often together at operating locations and he was as professional as one could get and set the example. I'll always remember the fun times too...Soar high, Jim.

My sincere condolences to the family of Jim Cain. There are many happy memories of time spent with Jim and Lois over a period of many years in the U-2 program. They were a great couple and both loved by everyone.
Having lost my husband, George (Hector), in April, my heart goes out to you in your grief. I know your loss and pain is being made worse by not being able to have any type of services and being together. I wish you peace and healing from your loss. Know that there are many people out there sharing with you.

Lois and Killer were a significant part of our U-2 world, a great couple which we loved being around. Killer was such a unique person, full of fun yet always professional in his USAF duties. He will be missed

Always a bright light in our squadron. Got even brighter after his ride in the U2CT! I'm sure he'll be waiting in the "Heritage Room" when we arrive at that westerly destination.

Killer, you have been in my thoughts all these many years. Give Lois a hug for me and keep them smiling up there. You are already missed.
