Ward, James C.

James passed away peacefully on the morning of December 27, 2021. Born in Tucson on September 13, 1930, the youngest child of James Sr. and Sarah Ward. He was predeceased by his parents, four siblings and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A loving husband, father and grandfather. He was married to and is survived by his wife, Gloria for sixty-nine years. A good friend to many and affectionately known as " Jimmy ". A handsome man who characterized, kindness, graciousness and a willingness to help others. A business owner for many years, he fostered lifelong friendships with many he came in contact with. James served in the United States Marine Corp. (Semper Fi) from (1948-1952), during the Korean War and achieved the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged. James maintained lifelong relationships over the years with his fellow marines from E Company. His curious nature took him to many parts in the world with his wife and friends. His adventurous spirit even landed him a part as an extra in the movie Titanic. Dad you will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. God Bless and Rest in Peace. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
