I only have the most wonderful memories of meeting and knowing your mom and dad as us kids competed in tennis under Sue Clark at Tucson High and at tournaments. I always felt their support and kindness during those days and how it touched me but it was their smiles that I will remember most. Thank you Karen, Sheri and Bobby for sharing them both with me. It meant a lot.

I will miss my dear friend of so many years since I was a small child. Janice always had good advice, a wonderful smile, great understanding. She was such a good example of a close family who enjoyed being together. Joyce (& Bill) Becker

Such a wonderful family. I was fortunate to have been offered my first summer job at Korbys clothing store in Rancho Center by Al and Janice. Our family lived in the same neighborhood in the El Con area and was welcomed by the Kivel family. Mrs Kivel always had a kind word for us and anyone she came in contact with. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I know that her kindness and legacy will go on forever.
