Jenelle Eager Obituary

Jenelle Head Eager a loving wife, mother and grandmother died peacefully at home Friday, October 19, 2007. Jenelle was born on June 19, 1939 in Ducktown Tennessee to Sidney and Jenelle Head. During her youth she traveled the world as an Air Force brat. She lived in Germany after WWII with her parents and siblings as well as, California, Georgia, Alabama and finally Tucson, which became her home. She met her husband, Jim through friends at the University of Arizona and married in 1960. She graduated from the University of Arizona in June 1961 and her first son, Eric was born in September that same year. She had two more children, Jenelle (Terry) and David. Jenelle was very active in the community, serving on the election board for many years, as an advisor in the PHI MU sorority, as an active volunteer and as a member of the Welcome Wagon. Jenelle loved the beach and traveled as often as she could to California to sit on the beach and become rejuvenated. Jenelle is survived by her husband, Jim Eager; sons, Eric and David (Amy); daughter, Jenelle (Ted) Chaloux; granddaughter, Kylie Chaloux; brothers, Sid and Alan Head; sister, Lara Head; three nephews and three nieces. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 27th, 2007 at Catalina United Methodist Church 2700 E. Speedway at 4:00 P.M.

Eric, I am trying to get news on your dad Jim. Haven't been able to reach him or find an update on the web. I am a past Miss Tucson and Miss Arizona and he was very kind to me. Please let me know what has happened. Thank you,
