With great sadness we announce the passing of Jenny Coomler of Tucson, at the age of 43 years on May 22, 2023. She died peacefully in the comfort of the familiar surroundings of her home. Jenny waged a valiant fight against cardiac sarcoma, a rare type of cancer, over the past year. She was dearly loved and will be missed greatly.Jenny was born in Ojai, CA on November 14, 1979. She spent her formative years in Santa Rosa, CA. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Arizona. Jenny's first career was in human resources, but in 2016 began a new career as a registered nurse. As an innovative problem solver and natural leader, Jenny excelled as a Case Manager. She was a fierce advocate for her patients, and always ensured their voice was heard so they received the best care.Showing dogs was a particular passion, starting with standard poodles and most recently, finding great success as an owner/handler of borzoi. Though a tough competitor in the show ring, she never hesitated to lend a hand to opponents at dog shows. Jenny also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and feeding as many people as much as she could whenever given the chance. Any gathering she hosted was sure to include a warm welcome, lively conversation, and plenty of food and drink. Everyone was welcome and no reason was too small to get together with family and friends.She is survived by her parents, Robert and Rita, brother Karl, and sister Karen Alix (Richard). Jenny will be dearly missed by her beloved nephews Brody and Zachary and her niece Caroline.The family would like to extend thanks to her healthcare team at Tucson Medical Center and Arizona Blood and Cancer Specialists for their dedication to her care for her extremely uncommon diagnosis.A gathering to remember Jenny will be held on Sunday, May 28.

We were camped near each other at the Prescott dog shows a few years ago. She was such a nice person. I'm so sorry - I just learned she passed as today's TKC dog show was dedicated to her memory. Rest in Peace, Jenny.

I didn't see Jenny often but when I did, she was so full of life and smiles! Last time I saw her, she bought a small bus which she and her dad were taking from NH to Arizona! Prayed for them during their whole trip across country!
