Jimmie Gribble Obituary

GRIBBLE, Jimmie "Renegade", Renegade passed away February 12, 2009 at the age of 60. This was an unexpected loss and he is severely missed by family and friends. His wife, Cassie; daughter, Suzanne and many brothers survive him. Renegade was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Army for 20 years. The majority of his time was spent in the Special Forces. He was a 20-year member of the Vietnam Vets/Legacy Vet Motorcycle Club. Renegade spent the last several years working as a driver for VanTran. A celebration of his life will be held soon, contact brothers or family for further information. In lieu of flowers donations in his name can be made to Pueblo Gardens Elementary School, Middle School program 225-2700, or Alzheimer's Association.

Jimmie, my cousin, we climbed trees together in Kansas and jumped between elevators...what stories could be told. But Jim's legacy is he fought during the Viet Nam War and was a warrior like that James Fletcher, our 12th generation gt. grandfather fought in the Revolutionary War ...Jim and I are Fletcher's and we were always proud of it.

It's been over 10 years since I left Van Tran I started in Feb 1995 and Renegade was always so helpful when I was learning to load passengers, if he was at the same pickup place like Handmakers he would always offer his help.
