John Miller Obituary

MILLER, John H., Funeral services for John H. Miller, 79, of Tucson, Arizona were at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2008 at Calvary Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Grogan of Tulsa, OK officiating. Interment will follow at Brunson Memorial Cemetery in Eunice. Visitation was from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Calvary Funeral Home. John passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 in Tucson, AZ. He was born June 8, 1929 in Marysville, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. John and Louella (Gwinn) were joined in marriage in Yuma, Arizona in 1953. They moved to Eunice in 1959 where he began work in the oil industry for several trucking companies. John had many friends and will be greatly missed and loved by all. John is survived by his two daughters, Brenda Hurst of Tucson, AZ and Lenora Grogan of Tulsa, OK; one stepson, Jackie Blancett of Andrews, TX; one sister, Avonne Hayes of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Eugene Miller of Kalispell, MT; three grandchildren, Melissa Motes and John Allen Sanders both of Eunice, NM and Shannon Grogan of Tulsa, OK; three great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Conny and Chelsa Motes all of Eunice, NM. John is preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Clifton and Donald Miller and one grandson, Michael Grogan. The family would like to thank everyone at UMC North Cancer Center and Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, AZ for all their help and support. Arrangements are under the direction of Calvary Funeral Home.
