Kathleen H. Neimer

Kathleen H. Neimer Kathleen left this stage and moved on to her next performance on November 9, 2015 at age 98. She is survived by her only daughter, Dr. Kathleen Assar and son-in-law, Fred Bond, of Tucson and stepson, Scott Neimer, of PA. Kathleen graduated valedictorian from high school and received her BS and MA from Millersville University. She was a professional dancer who performed in vaudeville across the US with her two male partners. Later she sang with big bands in the Harrisburg and Philadelphia area. She taught elementary school and operated her own dance studio until age 78. In 1995 Kathleen moved to Tucson and sang with the Foothills Women's Chorus until age 96. In 2009 the School of Dance at the UofA dedicated the Vaudeville Revival Show to her. Applause! Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel.
