These are from her last couple weeks, they have become my favorite pictures. Thinking about while she was on comfort care is hard today, two years from the day before she left us for Heaven. I know I can't do this tomorrow. I miss you, Kathleen.

I can not believe it's been a year since you went to heaven. If feels like it just happened yet forever since I could just call you and talk to you. I have no idea how I even got through this year without you. You were always the person I'd call about anything and everything practically daily. I miss you Mom but I know you're watching over me!

The longer version (thinking about her. . .): Kathleen Louise Boone Santaniello passed at 1045 AM, Sunday, June 26, 2022 from complications of autoimmune hepatitis, an advanced liver disease she had been diagnosed with in 2015. Kathy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Peter, 62, two daughters Regina 42, and Theresa 39, and three grandchildren, Peter 19, Angelo 19, MiaBella 11, and sisters Debby Poris and Sandi Dugan. She was a Christian, a travel agent, a Russian linguist, a soldier, a Sergeant, a wife, a mother and grandmother, a defense dept security officer, a private investigator, an author, a trustee, an American Legion Post Commander, a philanthropist, and an organ donor. For her 60th birthday, she went skydiving! My favorite place was with her, anywhere and at any time and she was so easy to love. She always had a smile to get anyone out of a bad feeling and even at her sickest should could melt my heart with it, or with raising those eyebrows! She was the only person I knew that had the Word of God written on her heart. She loves God and is always with Him, and without her I would never have known Jesus. You gave me life, Kathleen, I love you, and I miss you terribly!
