I just wanted to let you know that I still think of Kayla and what a beautiful girl she was. She was full of life and was very lucky to have such a wonderful and loving family. It was always a pleasure to take care of her and to see you at the hospital. I wish you all the best.

I didn't know Kayla, nor any of her family. I can't imagine the loss of a child. My two children are around the same age. The tears are rolling down my cheeks just thinking how hearbroken you are. May God give you strenghth at this time of sorrow. My daughter has stopped talking to me over something materialistic. She will be twenty this year. Life is too short and your loved ones can be gone in the blink of an eye

Pure light, joy and strength are key words I use when I describe Kayla. She had a constant smile and fought so hard through everything. She is a beautiful person and left her mark on everyone who she came in contact with. I only wish I'd been able to spend more time with her, but miles kept that from happening, just as they will keep us from being with Joe, Cathie and the boys on Monday. We will be with you in our hearts.
