Won't be too long now and it will be the 4 year anniversary of the day when Laura left us to become one of Gods angels and to do "His work", but there's not a single day that goes by that I don't miss her as much as the first day she passed. I work hard to celebrate her life and to remember all the brightness she brought into everyone's life around her, but truth be told...her loss still hurts one hell of a lot.
I love and miss you baby sister, and pray that your safe and watching over all of us.

I met Laura in high school when she asked me to join her to her senior prom. We rode in her brother's Z28. I remember that she looked really beautiful in her blue dress. I was extremely shy and really nervous that time. We became good friends, but life led is different directions so we didn't keep in touch like we should have. Laura, I often think of you. It saddens me that I can't just pick up the phone and catch up with you. As a Christian, I believe that when we part we go with god. I am sure that you and I will
catch up again.

I tried to think of 1 word that described our precious Laura, but there were so many that came to mind. Like:
COURAGEOUS: That needs no explanation.
DETERMINED: With every obstacle that life had given her, she bravely confronted and fought it tirelessly.
FEISTY: She could hold her own as you probably saw when she and her brother Ronny got together.
SELFLESS: A few months before her passing, I read an email she sent my husband, her brother. She was most concerned, not about her failing health, but about everyone else's well-being. Totally selfless!
BEAUTIFUL: I don't mean her obvious exterior, but her soul as well. She saw the glass 1/2 full
ann never dwelled on the negative. Even in such a dark time.
WITTY: This girl had quite a sense of humour. She wasn't afraid to laugh at life. After all, what kind of person would dedicate a room entirely to the ugliest creatures on this earth...FROGS!
But I think my favorite word to describe Laura is...ENCHANTING. It's something I believe all of us aspire, but only few achieve. Laura was enchanting. She gave endless love, support, and grace to all she knew and we will treasure that in our hearts forever.

Laura, I will miss you. Even though I have not lived in Tucson since we graduated from high school, we always kept in touch via email, letters and phone calls. I will never forget the week before I went into the Air Force, your brother Bob dragged you to Fry's to see me before I left. From then on, every visit I made I always stopped to visit with you! We had many laughs and good times together. I am so happy that I was able to visit you one last time in June. It was a nice, memorable visit. You have always been close to my heart and on my mind. I will miss you! I love you!
Chris, I think of you and Laura's family everyday. Know that I was hoping for the best for Laura all along. I did my best to keep up her spirits while living far away here in England. I will continue to keep in touch with you. You were a great husband. Thanks for taking such good care of my dear sweet friend.
Always, Ericka Comer

Ray Family-
I only knew Laura through her friend Ericka Comer; Ericka and I work together. From Ericka's stories I know that Laura was a wonderful woman. Her courage and love of life was amazing. I wish I could have known Laura and met her in person. I will never forget your family. Keep supporting each other and keep Laura's memory alive.
Everytime I look at a frog I think of Laura.
I am so sorry for your loss-Nora

My husband and I met Chris and Laura earlier this year at the AZ Cancer Center. I knew from the moment I met them they were a special couple. Laura had an undeniable energetic spirit about her, her eyes sparkled. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She became a friend and a source of strength through difficult times I had recently faced. To say that I will miss her is a huge understatement. I will be forever touched by her caring and compassionate nature. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

I just want to say first that my heart goes out to Chris and Laura's family. I can only say that I am a better person for knowing her. She was an inspiration to all of us. We can only learn from her and the time she was here. We all know that her life was cut to short, but the time she was here she made an impact on all that she met. I will never forget her and the friendship that we had. She will be missed so much! We will always love you Laura and your wonderful spirit!

I don't know where to begin. Laura was such a beautiful person. I wish my son was old enough to remember her love and generosity (she spoiled him). I will be sure that he knows what a great "Aunt" she was to him, and a great friend she was to me.
Laura, you will be deeply missed!

Our deepest and most sincere sympathy in your loss. We met Laura years ago through her brother-in-law, Jason and sister-in-law, Jackie Ray. Throughout those years we would see her when they would visit Phoenix. She was always so full of life and loved Jason and Jackies 4 daughters so much. I always remember thinking what wonderful parents they would make someday. From the moment we heard about her illness, we have kept her in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Knowing that she was my age really touched my heart in so many ways. Such a beautiful spirit, a giving heart, and a life taken way too young. May you find the strength and the courage to help you through this time. May the memories you have, the inspirational person she was, the unconditional strength she had throught this battle, be the reason to celebrate her life. She is no longer in pain for she is in a much better place and will be with you always in your thoughts, memories and hearts!!! May God Bless you all in your time of loss.
In our thoughts,
Vera Gardner

I had the privledge of meeting Laura in January of 2004. We met under unfortunate circumstances, but I could tell immediately how compassionate, warm hearted, loving, and sincere of a person she was. She reached out to me during a difficult time and Charlie and I intend to only do the same with Chris. Laura was faced with a horrifying challenge. Throughout her challenge she remained a pillar of strength and exuded one of the most positive attitudes I have ever experienced. I am a better person by having met her. I can only hope my words bring comfort to Chris and her family. Laura was a beautiful person who's soul touched many. May her spirit continue to do so.

Chris
My fondest memory of Laura was seeing her at the airport on the morning of one of your flights out of town for work. I wondered what the occasion was, and she told me she always went to the airport to see you off safely. Until the plane had taken off, she wouldn't leave. We have seen through your steadfast care for her how much you loved her, but I hope you realize how much Laura loved you, too.
