Linda Doverspike Obituary

DOVERSPIKE, Linda Jean (nee Edwards) most recently of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, passed away peacefully after her battle with cancer at the age of 47. Linda was in hospice care at Casa de la Luz in Tucson, AZ at the time of her death on March 20, 2007. Linda was cared for with great warmth and competence by the staff and was surrounded by loved ones during her final moments. Linda was a dedicated and successful Arizona small business owner with the assistance and support of her mentor, associate, and friend Jerome Lippman of Tucson. Linda was born in Douglas, AZ on April 24, 1959 to Charles W. Edwards and Irma N. Boulware (nee Lindner) and lived in Arizona until 2005 when she made her dream of living in Hawaii a reality. Linda returned to Arizona in late 2006 to be with family. Linda was preceded in death by her father and her infant daughter, April Ann. She is survived by her 16 year-old son, Trevor Alan and husband, Bruce A. Doverspike in Prescott Valley, AZ, as well as her mother in Dewey, AZ and sisters, Cheri Klove in Tucson, Debbie (Bill) Hamner in Christopher Creek, AZ and Carol Edwards in Dewey, AZ. Linda also leaves behind numerous extended family members and countless friends. Linda, in her characteristic unselfish and humble nature, requested no formal services be held in her honor, however, her life and memory will be honored during the scattering of her ashes in both Arizona and Hawaii.
