I will never forget Mario and his sage medical advice. He was like my personal physician in Tucson when I made my company trips. Plus, I thoroughly enjoyed our dinners together. He was such a knowledgeable individual. He is missed.....

I worked with Mario for a couple of years at The Clarion. He was hilarious. I was just telling a funny story about him and decided to look him up and found his obituary. I was working one Christmas at the hotel and he brought me his family tamales to make the day go better. I loved him.

I found an old warm letter from Mario tonight and it brought beautiful memories of the short but beautiful friendship we had while he was still working at the Santa Rita hotel and I was living in Mexico City so I decided to look for him in this digital age of social media and I was thrilled when I was finally able to locate him but immediately saddened when I realized it was his obituary and that he just passed away this year.
I always thought very fondly of Mario but I guess I came 40 years too late to say hi. Back then we didn´t have the technology or social media to remain in contact and it was easier to lost track of people or maybe that´s just life. Rest in peace dear Mario , the description they make of you in your obituary is exactly the memory I have indeleble in my mind of your persona. It was a pleasure coinciding with you in this life.

Our hearts are broken. We were just telling stories of Mario and we laughed at the memories he made with us. Rest in Peace our friend! Kharmyn will always remember how you would tell her "llevatelo" any ti e she liked something and she would decline 98 percent of the time because you were to kind,
Rest in glory our friend.
