Ah Lynn, You are missed daily, but you live in the hearts of many even 9 years later. My life has changed, but I remain loving Tommy as my brother and though I don't see him everyday I care more than ever. Bless you as you organize heaven and prepare for us to join you, I hope, one day!! Love to you and please know Tommy, Amanda and Mac are doing well and are loved by so many!!!

Dear Tommy: I was in Prescott when your mother passed away and amazingly I just learned of her passing last night. It has affected me deeply because of my enormous admiration and affection for her. She was a remarkable woman as you know better than anyone, and she loved you and your family with a devotion I don't think I have ever seen before. She absolutely adored you, Amanda, and Mac and Mac was the light of her life. She was larger than life in so many ways -- her intelligence, her wit, her ability to see how things might be. I will miss her but am grateful for all she taught me. May God bless you as you remember your rich legacy of having been blessed to be her son.

Dear Tom,
I was a freshman at the University of Arizona in the Fall 1993, Dean Tronsdal was my official mentor! She made all the difference in my educational and career path. I don't think I would have finished that first year without her guidance and support.
She was my home away from home.
She was caring and compassionate. She was an amazing public speaker and could make the whole audience laugh.
Although I did not know it at the time, she helped shape my career trajectory. I too work in higher education! I have written her notes over the years, but I wanted you to know how much she has shaped my life and so many other lives.

Your mom was an inspiration to me. We worked together, but more importantly we laughed together. I am so sorry we missed the services, but we just got back in town today. Know that my thoughts and prayers have been with you since I heard of her death. My heart is with you in your loss, and know that I know it is a big one. She lived each day with passion. Her vivaciousness will be missed. God bless you, Tom.

Dear Tommy- You don't know me, but like the hundred other letters you are going to be receiving in the next few weeks, I knew your Mom and she talked a lot about how proud she was of you, so that gives me one reason to write. The other reason is besides being a bright, joyous force of nature, even her walk was purposeful-she was always going somewhere for a reason, your Mom was a mentor to a whole lot of us at the U of A. I knew she was the reason I got the job, and the responsibility that went with it. She was stronger than any self-doubt and she made me want to be the person she thought I could be, and you'll recognize this, we all wanted to see that great smile and hear her say ‘ya done good kid'. I loved your Mom and I felt lucky to be on the receiving end of such wit and wisdom, so much of what she taught me as a mentor and then friend is still rolling around in my head, and I know my job now is to pass it on the next group. We all carry the legacy.
