Marc Pio Flores

Marc Pio Flores Died at age 44, on December 28, 2009. Marc was born on February 25, 1965 in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by Lori Flores, mother of their three beautiful children, Danielle, Veronica and Esten; parents, Frank and Rosemary Flores; sister, Renee Cardwell and brother, Paul Flores. Marc graduated from Salpointe High School. He played varsity football, basketball and baseball. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arizona. Marc had an entrepreneurial spirit and was a strong motivator. Marc was a decisive management executive in the cardio-thoracic medical products industry. He was a sales leader at Coalescent Surgical, CardioThoracic Systems, Medi-tech and GE Medical Systems. In his most recent position as CEO of Medical CV, Marc experienced the challenge of directing a small medical company through a turn-around scenario under extremely difficult circumstances. He was persuasive with investors and Wall Street to fund his company during the turn-around. During his career, Marc educated himself in the highly specialized subject matter required to advance the medical technology he advocated. His career was devoted to pioneering and marketing new cardio-thoracic procedures that were less invasive with faster recovery times. Marc was not just another face in the crowd. He lived life to make a difference in other people's lives. He celebrated life and cherished his family, especially his three children. He was a leader, had an infectious smile and many loyal friends. He spent his last year in Tucson to be closer to his parents, brother and extended family. He was a passionate and spiritual person who took the time to understand and interact with people. Viewing will be 8:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo, Tucson, AZ. Reception follows.
