So very sorry to hear of Maryse's untimely passing. Growing up the Brandt family was always a bright spot in the neighborhood. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Maryse,
" You are a special friend and we have known each other since high school. You had the unique ability to not make us take life seriously and always have fun, and how much fun we had!!! I love you and God knew what he was doing when he put you on this earth, you had a beautiful gift, and we all benefited from your wonderful laughter and making us laugh whenever we were around you, it was so special to just forget about life and crack up, and we all knew not to take a drink or put something in our mouth, because at anytime you come with your quick wit and we would be spitting out our drink because you were hysterically laughing. I admired you greatly because you taught us to go for whatever we wanted, you showed all of us how to be a fun and wonderful mom, it was a pleasure to see how proud you were of your five children, they loved and adored you as much, its a beautiful thing that you raised these young adults to be responsible, wonderful, and very grounded people, and they owe you a special thanks. You had that real zest for life that some of us are lacking, and we all knew there would something fun and new when we spent time with you, there was never a dull moment! I will always remember all our fun trips to the lake with your great Dad, who was such a wonderful man. He would pack that special cooler and he tell all the boys not to touch it, it was for my girls. We would sit up by the camp fire watching everyone do the polka, and just have fun cracking up and waterskiing, the next day of course matching our tans and seeing who was darker. I also remember going to the VFW when we were in our early twenties, on Friday nights for a fish fry, dancing with the older veterans and talking to your Dad about joining the military, of course we thought he lost his mind for suggesting it. He thought we should go in on the buddy program, we just didn't know how smart he really was. I also enjoyed seeing you and seeing your kids and catching up on old times when I came back to Tucson, I was suppose to come see you while you were in California, but didn't get that chance.
We all learned that we had a wonderful friend and your special laugh made everyone's life so much sweeter. I hope God wraps his arms around your children and family and helps them through this difficult time, we will always love you and miss you, are lives are better for knowing you !! "

Until we meet again as Andre put it your rubber band witty comebacks will be missed, you were the very best at that, sometimes funny as hell and sometimes shocking! I love you Maryse and make sure you pave the road for me. REST IN PEACE!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Brandt family. Maryse was a beautiful person inside and out. Heaven has gained a special on angel and while she is missed here in body, her spirit will always be with those Maryse loved.
