Matthew KALE Obituary

KALE, Matthew Birth 3/30/1974 Death 4/6/2015 Matthew, I didn't even know this picture existed of you. We never saw these pictures from my grandmother's birthday party before she passed away. My aunt from Denver emailed it to me a few months ago. You're so handsome, and you have such a nice kind smile. This picture just warms my heart, but then it reminds me that I won't have anymore new pictures of you. I miss you so much every day, but then I know you're in a place of refreshment, light, and peace. Love Always, Nancy

Hi Nancy. We only met briefly at the Matt's service. I knew Matt since kindergarten. We went to school and grew up together. I will never forget the countless days we spent riding bikes, exploring the desert, racing RC cars, playing video games, etc, etc, etc. We were good friends and worked together at Chevron and Circle K. Even though it's been two and a half years since his passing, I think about Matt almost every day, and miss his friendship very much. I can't even imagine the loss you feel. It's wonderful that you're publishing these tributes every year, a true testament to your love for him. I'm so glad you shared the story about all the notes on your windshield. That's so sweet, and a testament to his love for you. Some day, we'll all get to see Matt again.

My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there is a hope for our love ones lost in death can be reassuring.
