Michael Crescenzo Obituary

Michael Joseph Crescenzo Sr. 12/25/1924 - 6/20/2011 Michael passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Fay; son, Michael; granddaughter, Lynea, and many other family members and friends. Survived by daughter, "his little girl", Marianne, "my daddy was my hero", (husband, Duane); son, Ron "shared many special moments with Dad in last weeks" (wife, Carrie); grandchildren, Christopher, (wife, Jenny), Joey, Kyle and Kelsey, "they loved their grandpa very much"; great-granddaughter Bella, "just 18 months old, brought great joy to grandpa"; sister, Letty (husband, Loren), " had great times together"; and many nieces and nephews. Michael was a very proud WW2 (Navy), and Korean War (Army) veteran, musician, New York sports fan, and loved spending time with family and friends. Made his living primarily as a barber, also in real estate sales. Michael faced many physical challenges during his later years, we are very proud of how he hung in there, and amazingly continued to cut hair til a few months ago. We all love him and will miss him dearly, rest in peace Michael (Dad, Grandpa). Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at ABBEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 3435 N. 1st Ave.
