Hi Honey, today (19th) is six months since we were torn apart. I know and feel that you are happy and free of all pain and suffering. I am comforted that you are with our Lord and am watching over me. I feel you with me. You know how much I love and miss you, my tears and pain are proof of that. I am not doing well most days but I then think of your smile, laughter and humor that only you had and thank God I was honored to share my life with you. You are still my bestfriend, soulmate and love of my life and always will be. These six months have changed me and I long for you again, so until that day comes that we are reunited I will miss and love you! You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I will treasure our memories and love forever. I love you Mikey Davey!

Merry Christmas, my sweetheart. The Lord only knows the pain that I feel without you here by my side. How great this pain, yet it is incompareable to the love I have for you Mikey Davey.
You are on my mind and in my heart every second of the day and I count the days before I am with you again but only God knows when that will be. I will come running to you and we will be complete again. I love you Michael!

When I think of Mike, a funny story comes to mind. He was my brother Kenny's VERY good friend and when we were in high school, my parents would go down to Mexico to spend time on their boat, of course, Kenny and I would rather stay home and "party"... my parents were gone for Thanksgiving weekend and I was left to cook the Thanksgiving dinner... I had never cooked a turkey before in my life. Kenny, Mike and I sit down for dinner and the turkey was SO dry, but I look over and Mike is chowing down on the turkey leg and going on and on about how "yummy" it was.... I think of him everytime I see a turkey leg now! AND that same weekend, I was left cleaning up the house before the parents come home and I think I've gotten rid of all the beer cans and evidence, when I look over and see a COORS can INSIDE my moms hanging oil light... remember those??? it was pretty funny and I knew.. Mike had been here... Mike was a VERY good friend to Kenny, they seemed to "understand" each other. Mike will be missed by our family very much.

I was very sorry to hear about Mike. We had a lot of good times as teenagers. Sking and fishing in the White mountains, the California trip after high school graduation, working on our Landcruisers, or driving a big dumptruck with Long John Silvers pirate hats on! Mike was always fun to be around. Mike's family is in my prayers, may God bless you.

What a wonderful man Mike Hickey was..He will be missed by so many people. I never saw him without a big smile on his face. He brought laughter to so many of us in the construction industry just when it was needed the most. Be at peace Mikey !!!

Mikey was a part of the Sweeney family growing up. He was my protector in elementary school and my going out buddy when we got older. I have only fond memories of Mikey. My thoughts and prayers are with you Don and Barb.

Mike and I had a love hate relationship. He could make me so mad when we were younger, always getting Kenny in trouble. But some how he always had a way of making me laugh and get over it. He was probably the funniest guy I have ever known. He will certainly be missed.
I can picture him now...feeling like his old self again, entertaining everyone in heaven.
Our loss, heaven's gain.

Don and Barb, As you know "Mikey" and I were good friends growing up. I have many fond memories of our time spent together. I think back upon those times quite often. I share those memories with my family. The response from my kids is one of laughter, happiness and joy . I will treasure them forever. "Mikey" will always be thought of as my best friend. My prayers and thoughts are with you, always.

I remember Mike back as a child and spending time and being around my cousin. One thing he could be was exceptionally funny and always brought cheer to those around him. He will be missed.
