MILDRED SCIFERS SNOW HIGHLAND, IN Mildred Scifers Snow, age 86, of Highland, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009. She is survived by one daughter, Deanna and husband, Carl Smith of Garland, TX; two grandchildren: Lisa Petty of Dallas, TX and Staff Sgt. Ethan Goodman of Fort Stewart, GA; two great grandchildren: Nathan and Abigail Goodman; and brother, Leslie Scifers of Streator, IL. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Alva L. Snow. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. DIRECTLY at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Hannon officiating. There is no visitation at the funeral home. Mildred was a member of the Hessville Baptist Church. She was a retired bookkeeper at the Calumet Press Newspaper for over 25 years.
