The question about relationship was the easy to fill out. We all were family to Mama Jean. She is the essence of fragrance of life. I used to love to ask her questions, about anything. It was all about the look. She was so endearing, so easy to talk too. She kept us out of so much stuff and was so loving no matter what. Every time I smell Tamale Pie now, I look around the corner to see if she is in our kitchen. When I got something right her affirmation was priceless. She is one of a few that reminds me heaven is real, I know she is there. Thanks so much to Marlon and Charlene who shared her loving spirit with all or us. She made an indelible impact in my life for the good.

Charlene and Marlon,
I was hit with a duality of emotion when I learned of the loss of Mama Jean. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for accepting and sharing the love of your mom with my sister and I. She taught me lessons of life in way I would never forget. I cry tears of loss and tears of joy. I smell the sweet fragrance of Tamale pie from heaven. My family extends its love and comfort during your bereavement.
With Love,

my mom was engaged to grandma mimie's son marlon, she was the closest to a grandma i ever had, her smile, her knowledge she shared with us, her laugh, her wonderful tacos and her pancakes in the morning! we lived next door to her wherever we moved when we lived there. i miss her so much, my mom then moved us to oregon so she could go back to school and being so far away i didnt really get to visit her much but wish i did. i love you grandma mimi, you are the greatest. And always remembered.

She was a wonderful friend and neighbor for many years. It was a sad day when she moved from the house across the street, but we are so fortunate to have such good memories. There would never be another neighbor that looked out for us the way she did. Of course, my father also missed her sweet potato pies. We were blessed to have known her and will never forget her. We pray our Lord gives you all the strength to get through this difficult time. God bless your family always.
