Beany was my aunt. When I was a child, I lived in Bisbee with my Mom (LuLu), brother Joseph, my NaNa & TaTa & my Great Grandma Dorothy Jackson I couldn't wait for her to get to the house on Barnett Road, when I was told she was coming down to visit. I would wait by the windows for her to arrive. And when she did, I would go with her everywhere in her white Firebird, sitting on the console between the seats. As I grew up, we remained very close. She & I were very similar. And although later in life, we had our differences, the Love between us, remained. I love & miss my Aunt Beany, very much. But, I know she is in a better place & that I will see her, again.

I worked with Pat as a brand new teacher at Apollo Middle School back in 2007. She was teaching girl´s PE at the time. She was warm, friendly, spiritual and a fascinating woman. She´s one of the reasons that I fell in love with the school and the district. She loved her kids and they loved her right back. I´m so very sorry for the loss of this beautiful woman. May memories of her serve as a hug for when you need it.

Awww I am so sorry to hear this about Ms. Jones. She was my PE teacher at Apollo Jr. High. Later in life, since I work in the district I had run into Pat here and there, but it's been a while that I had seen her. One of the kindest teachers, people ever to know. I loved to hear her laugh. She will be missed by many, all who knew her.

I would always look forward to hearing her greet me each day with, "Hey baby girl! How's your day going?" She showed love to ALL the students at Apollo. Her incredible smile will be missed. My condolences to the family and all who loved her.

My condolences to Beany's family, I will never forget the fun times we had together at her home off of Speedway. We were all so young then, she always had great advice for me and my kids. Wow that was a long time ago.

I met Pat at Apollo Middle School in 2001... She made a huge impression on me and we worked together for five years. She touched families for decades and they returned to reminisce and share their successes and concerns with their new generations in the Sunnyside district. Pat was incredibly generous of her time, love, and spirit. She gave her best advice and guidance daily and always prayed that she was doing the right thing. She was truly righteous and kind. There are very very few like her. I called her my spiritual advisor and counselor but she was so much more to so many.... The world was a much kinder, sweeter place with Pat Silva in it.

I have known Beany since grade school and we both worked with the Sunnyside District. We would keep in touch and get together with Eva (Cookie) as great friends do from Bisbee. I will always remember the good times together and her smile and laughter. I will value our memories and talks about when we´re kids growing up and the laughter at looking back at childhood.

Beany is my cousin. We first met when she and her family came out to California. Beany was a teenager and I was right behind her and Lulu was behind me. I just remember when we first met, it was as if we had known each other our entire lives. And when summer vacation was over with her family headed back to Arizona, we cried like babies and just looked forward to the next year when we would get together again. I will never forget you and how much joy you brought to my childhood.
I love you Beanie and I will see you again!!!

Pat´s husband Joe was my supervisor several years ago. When she visited the office, she always made it a point to say hi and chat a bit with a beautiful smile. She had a great sense of humor and a lovely spirit. My condolences go out to Joe, family and friends. God rest her soul.
