Richard M. Ritt

Richard M. Ritt Beloved husband and father, Richard M. Ritt, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. He was born August 20, 1926 in Crystal Lake, IL and moved to Tucson with his family in 1971. Here, he worked as a real estate appraiser until retirement in 1989. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake and Fountain of Life Lutheran Church in Tucson and was active in both congregations. He was a choir member, bell choir member and served as congregation president in 1972. Music was also a big part of his life. He sang in a Barbershop Quartet and was helpful with wife, Gloria's, piano students. Survived by wife, Gloria; daughters, Deborah Ann Campagne and Robin Lynn Cude; grandchildren, Heather Immel and Gavin Cude; step-grandchildren, Kristine Catterton-Campagne, Kimberly Goebel, Robert Campagne, Gregory Campagne; step-great-grandchildren, Mark Catterton, Jeffery Goebel, Rachel and Mikayla Campagne and Gregory Campagne. Pre-deceased by son, Brian Robert Ritt and grandson, Jeremy Marcus Ritt. We will miss his faith, his understanding, his compassion, his willingness and his humor. Memorial service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S. Kolb Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Richard's name be made to Fountain of Life Lutheran School Scholarship Fund or Fountain of Life Lutheran Sanctuary Improvement Fund.
